About Us

Many say that Jolene Petrowski has a "knack" for picking colors and space planning. After graduating with an AS in Interior Design from Miami-Dade College, Jolene pursued an Interior Design career at Joyce-Snoweis Design Group, Peggy Nye and Associates and Noller Design Group. Each company helped her develop a different area of specialization, giving her a wide range of experience from hotel and office spaces to model homes and private residences.

Most recently, Jolene worked as a design consultant for Ethan Allen Home Interiors in Wilmington, Delaware. Although she enjoyed the design aspects of her work, she did not like the idea of pressuring her clients to buy in order to make sales quotas. After 2 years with Ethan Allen, Jolene decided to leave to start her own design company, Inspired By Design LLC.

Jolene's 15 years of experience combined with her knowledge of design, her attention to detail and her absolute dedication to her clients, affords her the opportunity to compete with the top designers in the area; yet her desire to be affordable and to help "everyday people" who want and deserve well-designed living spaces, is testament to her true passion for Interior Design.
