Travel Fees
Due to rising fuel prices and requests to travel further distances for consultations, Inspired By Design LLC has found it neccessary to implement travel fees. Fees are calculated to cover time and fuel. Fees are based on one way mileage from Pennsville, NJ to your address as per mapquest.com.
Fee: 1st 25 miles no charge, $1.50 per mile for each additional mile over 25
Client Interview
All projects or potential projects begin by me listening to your ideas and by asking you questions about how you live, what you love, and what you need. Then we will discuss which service or services will best suit your needs.
Hourly Conceptual Design Consultation
This service is for those clients who may be do-it-yourselfers, or who have a good idea what they want, they just need some design insight on how to get there. Clients who fall into either of these categories usually only need a visit or two to resolve their design challenges.
The following are examples of interior services that fall within the hourly conceptual design consultation:
- Color Consultation - color & finish selection for walls, flooring, furniture, cabinetry, etc.
- Accessorizing - placement of artwork or other accessories, lighting placement and style suggestions, ideas on types of accessories needed
- Verbal ideas and recommendations
Comprehensive Interior Design Consultation
This service is for those clients who are thinking of tackling larger projects - remodeling, additions, just bought or moved to new home - but don't need full service interior design. This service can be used for one room at a time or for multiple rooms. Jolene developed this service especially for her budget conscience clients. It allows the client to decide on how much or how little help they need. At the completion of this service, the clients will have the information to move forward with the project themselves or have the option of having Jolene continue to help in selected areas.
The following are services that fall within the Comprehensive Interior Design Consultation:
- In-home initial assessment
- Measurement of room & furnishings
- Verbal ideas and recommendations
- Detailed written report of ideas and recommendations
- Scaled space & furniture plans
- Review of plans and report
Full Service Interior Design Consultation
Are you remodeling, restoring, building or buying a new home, or looking forward to building an addition to your home? Do you need someone that is professional, accountable, reachable, timely, organized, talented, personable, affordable, knowledgeable and able to oversee a design project for you? If this rings a bell, then Inspired By Design LLC can help. Jolene's Interior Design degree was received from a program that was architecturally based. She is knowledgeable about wall construction, lighting and electrical plans as well as the decorative aspects of design. It is important when beginning projects like this that the interior design and decoration is taken into consideration from the very beginning. Having Inspired By Design LLC involved from the start will help prevent costly change orders or revisions later, when the client realizes that they should have put in a floor outlet or that the floor vent needed to be shifted a few inches to accommodate the placement of a sofa. Jolene can also help at this point by taking the guess work out of selections you will ultimately need to make - plumbing fixture design or finish, which drawer pulls should you use on your cabinets, paint color, floor or wall tile designs or layouts.

- Help client decide where best to put the funds
- Develop a action plan if the project needs to be completed in phases

- Availability to be onsite for key installations or deliveries (ie: window treatments, furniture, painting, etc)

Interior Redesign
Do you just want to freshen up your space, make the room function better? Do you like all your "stuff" but just can't seem to pull everything together in a way that works for you? Do you want to accomplish this with little cost? Then Inspired By Design LLC is for you. Jolene will come into your home and play with what you already own to give you a fresh new look for your space. She will also give you additional ideas and recommendations for future phases when you are ready to budget more money for the space.
The following are services that may be included under this heading:
- Initial assessment
- Moving and/or rearranging of furnishings and accessories
- Declutter and organizational services
- Light cleaning (dusting and vacuuming of items)
- Additional verbal ideas & recommendations
Home Down-Sizing or Up-grading Consultation
Are you moving to a larger or smaller home? Will your existing furniture fit in your new space? What furniture "holes" will you need to fill? Jolene can help answer these questions. She can also save you money... Why pay to move a large sectional or other furniture only to find out that it doesn't fit into the new space like you thought it would?
The following are services that may be included under this heading:
- Initial Assessment
- Measurement of existing furnishings
- Comprehensive Interior Design Consultation for new location
- Ability to work from blue prints, model home plans, or actual location
- Follow-up after move to fine tune furniture and accessory placement
- Additional services available as needed

Product Selection Services
Are you a busy person, or someone who realizes the importance of having a design consultant help you select your furniture, fabrics, floor tile, rugs, accessories or other important design decisions for your home? If so, Jolene would love to help guide you through the process. She can save you hours of precious time that you would otherwise need to spend searching for products. She will also save you from costly mistakes.
With this service Jolene will do the physical leg-work and/or computer work to locate options for the client. She will preselect furniture, fabric, accessories, finish choices, etc for the client. Jolene will then direct the client to the location or attend with them, if they choose, to finalize their decisions. It is the client's responsibility to purchase the products. Inspired By Design LLC does not involve itself in the actual purchase. Any purchasing or contractual arrangements are made between the client and the vendor. Inspired By Design LLC will not be held responsible for issues that may arise from these purchases. (ie: delays in delivery, quality issues, etc)
Custom Window Treatments
If you have questions on how to address the windows in your home Jolene can assist you. Various service options are available depending on the client's needs. These services can range from the hourly consult to discuss ideas and options to full service which includes design, fabrication and installation of the window treatments.
De-clutter & Organizational Services
Do you have to much stuff that is getting in the way of day-to-day living? Is your home office a total disaster area? Inspired By Design LLC can help reclaim your space from clutter and chaos. This service is often used in conjunction with Interior Redesign Services.
Gift Certificates
Wondering what to give the new homeowner, new bride or mother-to-be? Do you know someone who could use a little assistance with their interior spaces? Inspired By Design LLC gift certificates make a unique and thoughtful gift. They also make great thank-you gifts from Realtors, home builders or other contractors.
